Come on out and support Nelson County's newest farmers' market, tour John Boy's bedroom, and remember the good ole days before the digital conversion! The Shakes actually have a Waltons connection, believe it or not. You'll remember that John Boy growed himself up and went off to "Boatwright University." This fictitious institution takes its name from the library at the University of Richmond, the school attended by author and Waltons creator Earl Hamner and where I myself received some fine book-larnin'.</span></div>

Bring your friends, meet your neighbors! This event is free but all proceeds benefit Our Community Place. The Shakes are scheduled to take the stage shortly after 2pm.</span></div>
